Why Play Squash?
Squash is a fun, social sport that you can learn at any age and play year round, no matter what Mother Nature is serving up outside.
It’s a great workout regardless of your skill level. Squash players can burn as many as 400 calories in just 40 minutes. And because you’re playing a game that’s a ton of fun instead of putting in time at the gym, it’s easy to stay motivated.
It’s also relatively easy to learn the basics so you can start to enjoy the game right away. With a good foundation clinic and instruction from certified pros, beginners can improve rapidly. But the bottom line is, playing somebody at your level is fun and an excellent way to stay fit.
Join Our League!
We are the premier singles league serving the vibrant and diverse women’s squash community in Toronto & District (T&D). We run an E league for new and returning players that includes clinics, weekly game play, a great workout, and the opportunity to socialize with and meet other players après squash. We also offer a competitive team-based singles squash league experience.
Our E league experience starts with a Start on Squash clinic (coming in October) delivered by certified squash professionals. After that, players practice playing games and improving their technique weekly in a fun and social environment.
Last year’s E league players all saw considerable improvement in their skill levels, and most commented on how much they looked forward to their night out in a fun setting with a new group of friends.
Join our E league as an individual player, or better yet, sign up with a couple of friends. Try something new and embrace our TDWSA motto – Compete, Play, Laugh! We hope to hear from you when registration opens in September.
